  4. Reply from URA: “The signboard shown in your snapshot refers to the plot of land parcel next to the existing HDB Reservoir Village development that has been recently sold for low rise residential development, up to a maximum height of 5-storeys.
We understand and appreciate your concern about the loss of open space and greenery in the Bedok Reservoir area. However, this parcel of land is not part of Bedok Reservoir Park which has been safeguarded as greenery and waterbodies under the Master Plan 2008 – Parks and Waterbodies Plan.

The future residential development will not be at the expense of park land. In addition, to balance the development with nature conservation, the authorities will be working with the successful tenderer to retain as many mature trees as possible within the land parcel.”
