海藻萃取物的新研究发现

日本食品预防医学权威,日本冈山理科大学生命科学教授滨田博喜将在12月2日(星期天)亲身与大家分享本身研究日本冲绳褐藻糖胶(Fucoidan)的心得。

滨田教授学问精博,其研究领域涵盖了理学、有机化学、基础医学、营养学、基础药理学。其研究贡献深钜,让他在2011年荣获日本植物细胞分子生物学会技术奖之殊荣。滨田教授也是致癌药物 – 紫彬醇的研发者。目前是和日本官方和学术界共同研究各种天然物质的成分对人体生理机能的作用,并依此开发出各种实用的保健品。其中,对冲绳褐藻菜中萃取的褐藻糖胶所发表的深入研究报告颇受各国学界关注,亦为本次演讲重点。

Professor H. Hamada, a renowned Japanese scientist advocating food as preventive medicine, will be in Singapore to give a lecture on the latest research development in seaweed extract. The lecture is scheduled to be held on 2nd  of December 2012.

Professor Hamada has decades of research experience on Okinawa Fucoidan. Pro. Hamada has extensive experience in scientific research, organic chemistry, basic medicine, nutritional science and basic pharmacology. His contributions are widely recognized and he was conferred with the Technical Award in Excellency by the Japanese Plant Cellular Molecule Biological Institute in 2011.

Prof. Hamada is also one of the co-developers of the anti-cancer drug, Taxol.

The Japan government and academia are working closely to do research and development on various natural substances that have efficacy on various human body functions with an aim to come out with practical health products. One of such products is known as the Okinawan Fucoidan, which is a form of seaweed extract that has received wide attention throughout the world. Thus, the Okinawan Fucoidan will be the main focus of the upcoming lecture.
